Trust Score Breakdown
Checked: 5 October 2026
Why this vendor is unrated. No Trustpilot or ProductReview.com.au listing was found for oztechdeals.com.au. There is a Trustpilot profile for OzTech Emporium (oztechemporium.com.au), but that is a different Sydney business and we do not transfer a rating between domains. The testimonials on OZ Tech Deals’ own site are not independent evidence under our methodology. The vendor scores well on transparency and operations — 20/20 and 16/20 — but the review aggregate is worth 50 of the 100 points, and with no platform data there is no defensible way to award it. Unrated here means unproven, not poor.
Rubric components we can score: transparency 20/20, operations & legitimacy 16/20. The review aggregate is worth the remaining 50 points and cannot be calculated without qualifying platform data.
ProductReview.com.au
Not FoundScore components: 60% Review aggregate (Trustpilot 2× weighted) · 20% Refurb transparency · 20% Operations & legitimacy · Volume bonus (up to +10). Information only — not advice.
Vendor Policies
Warranty
24-month warranty on every refurbished device, covering hardware faults under normal use, with a warranty registration page. The battery carries its own 12-month warranty — separating the two is unusual and useful, since the battery is what most often fails first.
↩ Returns
30-day satisfaction guarantee with a refund or exchange if you are not completely satisfied, and free returns.
Grading System
A published three-tier cosmetic scale with photographs of each grade: Grade A (As New), pristine with no visible wear; Grade B (Excellent), small scratches visible only close up; Grade C (Good), more obvious scratches, blemishes or scuffs. Every device passes a stated 72-point inspection and ships with battery health of 80% or above, unlocked to all Australian networks.
Shipping
Free express shipping; ships Australia-wide.
Notable: The most completely documented refurbishment disclosure we have scored on this site. Grade definitions with example photographs, a stated battery-health floor, warranty length split between device and battery, a 30-day returns window, and a published inspection process — that is every element of our transparency rubric, which is why it scores 20 out of 20 there. What it has no track record on yet is independent reviews, and a TrustScore needs those. Treat this as a well-documented seller nobody has publicly vouched for yet, not a proven one.
