ℹ About Techwerx
A Melbourne Apple and Windows repair specialist — MacBook logic boards, Flexgate backlight faults, screen and keyboard replacement, liquid damage, data recovery, business IT support — operating from serviced offices in Cheltenham and Mornington on a no-fix-no-fee basis. Trust Score Breakdown
Checked: 5 October 2026
Why this vendor is unrated. No Trustpilot or ProductReview.com.au listing was found for techwerx.au. The business carries a strong Google review profile, but Google reviews are not a source we score from — they are not independently verified for purchase and are not comparable across the vendors we track. With no qualifying platform data the review aggregate cannot be calculated, so the vendor is unrated. Its transparency score is low (1/20) because, as a repair business, it publishes almost nothing about how its small refurbished range is graded, warranted or returned.
Rubric components we can score: transparency 1/20, operations & legitimacy 12/20. The review aggregate is worth the remaining 50 points and cannot be calculated without qualifying platform data.
ProductReview.com.au
Not FoundScore components: 60% Review aggregate (Trustpilot 2× weighted) · 20% Refurb transparency · 20% Operations & legitimacy · Volume bonus (up to +10). Information only — not advice.
Vendor Policies
Warranty
Not published. The repair side advertises no-fix-no-fee, but no warranty term is stated for the refurbished stock. Ask before buying.
↩ Returns
No returns policy published on the pages we read.
Grading System
No grading scale. Listings are labelled only Refurbished or Refurbished As New, with condition left to the product title.
Shipping
Online orders plus contactless pickup; remote and on-site service across Melbourne’s bayside and the Mornington Peninsula.
Notable: A repair shop with a shelf, not a refurbisher. At the time we checked, the refurbished collection held four items — all Macs and PCs, no phones at all. The repair credentials are real and the technical depth is unusual: logic-board micro-soldering and charge-port rework are things most sellers outsource. But if you are shopping for a refurbished handset, this is not the place, and the absence of a published warranty or returns policy on the retail side is a gap worth closing before you buy hardware here.
